A familiar boutique hotel address; the property was rehabbed by the luxury hotelier with an emphasis on playful, practical spaces. The inviting lobby is fit for tech junkies and business travellers with a mix of pop art including a wall-mounted Plinko board, plop lounge seating and sexy lounge infused with sophisticated details like wide wood planks and marble-topped bar that brims with life from 2pm till late-evenings. An upper mezzanine level features further pool table, shuffleboard and game accoutrement. Walking distance to all of SoMa and nearby shopping of Union Square, what the area lacks in a residential feel it makes up for in practicality and perky design glamour.
